It appears I had my information wrong in regards to the county extension office normally being open on Saturdays and that we might be able to take advantage of using the facilities in the winter months without cost by moving the meetings in the winter to Saturdays. FAIL! I was incorrect. The office is not open normally on either Saturdays or Sundays and would thus still cost the bee club the same as it would to schedule on a Sunday. So, for those who saw in the February newsletter that we would discuss this for a potential vote on winter meeting days, no, not going to happen.However, it is a very nice facility and for those meetings when we except a majority of m,embers in attendance, we will still possibly schedule there. |
